Imaginative menu, very good soups (turkey pot pie soup delicious), and very decent BLT. Back menu page preferred unless you have no problem with high-fat (though tasty) comfort foods. Sadly, they are inflexible about accommodating some customer requests: I took a 90-year-old who wanted a cup of water with lunch. Nope. Purchased a water bottle for $1, but was told for a cup I must pay the price of a cup of coffee ($1.50) to get an empty cup to pour the water bottle into. (No outside drinks permitted.)
I brought in water in a reusable water bottle from outside and the waiter told me I had to immediately take it to my car, interrupting me. They also don't provide cups for water, so you have to buy it.
I've been going here for close to ten years and won't be back.
In addition, they close randomly without warning.
The food is excellent! Do yourself a favor and get a bowl of their Turkey pot pie soup when they're offering it. OMG it's delicious! I was an avid soup hater before tasting it. There are so many delish & filling dishes at Dreamers. I love that place.
I've been to this Cafe twice and both times it was a pleasure. The food is fantastic (I've gotten chili in a bread bowl and a Pastrami sandwich), and is a good value. It's easy to miss coming from the south, as they haven't replaced the Jakes Burgers sign yet, so keep an eye out for that for now.
I been going here for years even with the change in ownership the quality remains very good.
